Universitas Mercu Buana students as the national assets, have chances to improve the potential, mentality, and their behavior as the successor candidate for the nation’s leader. To achieve this, education in Universitas Mercu Buana will be integrated and consistent in improving academic as well as programmed character education.

Development program started from Initial College Activities as the introduction and orientation stage to the environment of college. This activity contains insights and self ability needed as their first assets to become student of Universitas Mercu Buana. Some of them are: Country Defense Introduction Training, Character Building, Dangers of Drugs Insight, Profesion/Science Seminar, National Seminar, Talent and Interest Activities, also Basic Student Management Skills Pre Training. As for following those activities, students will be able to find their own potential so they can creat positive mindset in supporting their college later.

In Universitas Mercu Buana, student’s success rate counted by their academic result for 144 Credit Semester Unit from subjects they have taken, and accumulated result from character and soft skill building for 100 Credit Achievement Unit for undergraduate and 80 Credit Achievement Unit for associate through various reasoning, talent and interest, and extraculicullar activities followed by the students.

Universitas Mercu Buana has numbers of student organization which can be followed according to their talent and interest, those are field of arts (Traditional music and dance, Theater, Choir), Language and Literature, Sports, Environmental care & anti drugs, field of country defense (Student Regiment and Scouts). Student Organization is the vessel for student to develop their self potential and soft skill and also channeling their talent and interest so they can have experiences to improve their competencies and able to have high competitiveness in Industry later.

Therefore, students are expected to able to follow the training programs in Universitas Mercu Buana, which are student coaching on the first of semester (Student Orientation Program), student coaching on the mid of semester (Student Management Skills Training), student coacing on the end of semester (Career Coaching in UMBCTC), and student entrepreneur coaching in Entrepreneurial Center.

Welcome to the excellent campus Universitas Mercu Buana. My message is follow every activities with spirit and seriously, know your potential, and let’s compete in achieving accomplishments that could give prides to yourself, parents, campus, and obviously our country.
